Il leader di sinistra, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (Pt) ha vinto il ballottaggio, ed é stato eletto presidente del Brasile per la terza volta.

Lula ha battuto l’attuale capo dello Stato, Jair Bolsonaro (Pl, destra), il primo presidente che ha fallito nel suo tentativo di rielezione.
